Arrowhead to have classes on Tuesday, despite weather

Arrowhead Union High School Superintendent Craig Jefson said the school is not expecting to cancel classes tomorrow, despite the cold weather.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures tomorrow are expected to reach a high of three degrees, with wind chill values between -15 and -25 degrees.

Jefson said the school has cancelled classes due to low temperatures before, but it would need to be much colder, between -30 to -40 degrees with the wind chill factor considered.

"We anticipate the school being open tomorrow," he said. "It may be a bit chilly, but we are tough Wisconsinites."
