No AHS football game Friday night

In somewhat of a shocking development, the Arrowhead varsity football team will not play a game this Firday night, Sept. 4.

AHS originally had a contract with Roosevelt High School of Indiana to play this week at Arrowhead. But about three weeks ago, Roosevelt contacted AHS athletics director Kevin Flegner and informed him that they were not going to honor the contract and play the game due to a scheduling problem on their side.

Arrowhead has tried since then to find an opponent for this week but hasn't made a connection. They've called schools from Wisconsin and out of state.

As of Sunday morning, no opponent had been found.
