The scheduled Lisbon Auxillary Softball games for tonight are cancelled due to rain according to a statement released by Lisbon Fire Chief, Douglas J. Brahm. They will be reschedule next week either on Wednesday or Thursday. An e-mail will be sent out with the decided day by Monday. The next week's games will be held in the Sussex Village Park.
The standings are as follows:
1. Merton Fire Dept 4 and 0
2. Richfield Fire Dept 2 and 1 (1 game to play)
3. Lisbon Fire Dept 1 and 2 (1 game to play)
4. Sussex Fire Dept 1 and 3
5. Hartland Fire Dept 1 and 3
The next week will have Richfield against Lisbon at 6:30 and then the championship game at 7:30 p.m.. If Lisbon wins the first game and Richfield and Lisbon finish with 2 and 2 records, the tie breaker will be based on total runs earned throughout the tournament. Richfield, the reigning champs, will bring the trophy for the presentation to the new champions.
